Dates & Price

Price: £80 for one person and £50 each for up to 2 additional participants (includes zoo admission). 

Dates: We only have a limited number of spaces available for each interaction. Please check the booking calendar, by clicking on the link, to check our availability. We only allow bookings up to 6 months in advance.

Please note we have limited availability at weekends and school holidays, so please allow plenty of time to book your interaction. Extensions will not be given.

What to expect

Waddle this way onto our penguin's beach, where you'll meet and feed our colony of Magellanic penguins and learn all about this species.

Our expert staff will be on hand to guide you through the interaction, answer any questions you might have, and give you some fascinating facts about life as a penguin.

We only accept one booking per slot, so your experience will be exclusive to you.. and a friend or two if you can bring yourself to share!

Each experience lasts for up to 30 minutes and you will be free to enjoy the zo for the remainder of the day. This interaction includes admission into the zoo and you'll also get a complimentary car park pass and certificate.

What you need to know

  • Prices: £80 for one person and £50 each for up to 2 additional participants.
  • Animal interactions are non-refundable. Please note we have limited availability at weekends and school holidays, so please allow plenty of time when booking.
  • The interaction must take place within 6 months of booking.
  • Minimum age: 8 years, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult 
  • The interaction may take place in close proximity to water, please notify us when booking if any adjustments need to be made for the interaction.  
  • Start time: 9:45am, please note only paying participants will be ensured entry to the zoo before 10am. 
  • Interaction includes entry into the zoo for the day.

  • Unfortunately, this experience is not suitable for those who are pregnant or people with epilepsy.

    • You must be at least 8 years old to participate in this experience.
    • Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult participant.
    • Maximum of 3 participants per experience.
    • The interaction does not take place in water, but you may be in close proximity.

The purchase of additional non-participating guests can only be made on the day of the interaction at Visitor Services and they can only access the zoo after 10.00am. Parts of the interaction will take place behind the scenes and in staff-only areas which are not visible or accessible to non-participating guests.
