Work Experience - Student Placement Opportunities

If you are completing a college or university course, you may be eligible to apply for voluntary experience at Blackpool Zoo. The opportunities we have available are:

• These voluntary placements are for students hoping to take a sandwich year from studying an animal, conservation or marketing and design-related course and run from September to June/August. The positions are full-time and unpaid.
• Placements are available on the Animal, Education, Research, Marketing and Design teams.

• This placement is for students completing an animal or education related course and run from July to September. The positions are full-time and unpaid.
• Placements are available on the Animal, Education and Research teams.
• Applications will close on 20th April 2024.

• This placement is for students completing an animal or education related course and runs from September – December OR January - April. The positions are part-time, Saturday and Sunday only and are unpaid.
• Placements are available on the Animal team.
• Applications for September- December are now CLOSED.
• Applicationsfor January- April.
