Rainbow Landings
Take a walk through to get close to the stunning Rainbow Lorikeets.
Subject to a Lancashire-wide mandatory housing order to protect against the spread of avian influenza, we have taken the precautionary measure to close Rainbow Landings. The birds can still be viewed on the outside of their habitat.
Rainbow Landings is home to the stunning rainbow lorikeets. They are a parrot native to Australia and are unmistakable with their bright red beak and colourful plumage.
The walk-through has now reopened and will be open at selected times each day. Please check the signs at the zoo entrance for the current schedule.
