Do you have parking for disabled visitors?

Yes. These spaces are also charged at £3.00.

Can I buy tickets online?

Yes, we guarantee our best prices are when you book online in advance. The further in advance you book, the more you save. You are also then able to join the fast-track queue on arrival if it’s open (usually on busy days).

Do I need to print my tickets?

Having printed tickets does make things slightly quicker, but it's not essential, you can just show us on your phone or tablet. Alternatively, you can download our free mobile app and load your tickets into that - we will then scan them from your phone. Our app also includes an interactive map, talk times (with a handy reminder feature so you don't miss out) along with lots of information about our exhibits and animals. The app is freely available on Apple and Android devices. However, if you don’t have a printer, please make a note of the Locator code number on completion of your booking or show it on your phone or tablet.

Do you charge for disabled visitors and carers?

Yes, we do. However, the rate is substantially reduced for both and is available even cheaper online.

What proof of disability do I need on arrival?

DLA / PIP Letter, Disabled Persons Bus Pass, Access Card, DID Card, Blue/Orange badge or a medical letter confirming disability.

Can I go back to the car for my picnic?

Of course you can. Just keep hold of your receipt and show that, or ask a member of the team to stamp your hand.

Do you take Tesco “Days Out Vouchers” or Blue Peter Badges?

Tesco vouchers must be exchanged at the Admissions desk and cannot be used online. They are valid against full priced adult / child / student / senior/ disabled / carer tickets only, not family (discounted) tickets/ memberships or with any other offer.

Blue Peter badges (with a valid ID card) allow free entry for the holder with a full-paying adult only.

Do you offer discount to NHS staff, the Armed forces or local residents?

We don’t offer discounts other than to residents of FY1 – FY5 postcode areas as they are Blackpool borough Council tax payers. Please remember to bring proof of your address to get the discount. (Tickets can’t be bought online)

Where can we find discount codes for the zoo?

The simple answer is “You can’t.”  The cheapest way to buy tickets is online 48 hours or more in advance.

These tickets cannot be booked in advance, but all you need to do is bring proof of address to admissions with you on the day of your visit.

Can I bring a picnic?

Yes, you can – we have plenty of picnic benches around the park. You can leave your picnic in the car and pop back for it, too. Just get your hand stamped on your way out. Do beware of the seagulls, though, as they’re very partial to a sandwich.

Is there anywhere indoors to eat our picnic?

There are one or two undercover areas.

Do you cater for special dietary requirements?

We do our best. Please speak to a member of staff and discuss your meal – they will then offer you options.
