Santa has confirmed that he will be flying in from the North Pole to check on his herd of reindeer at the zoo on selected dates in November and December 2019!

THIS EVENT WAS IN 2019.

His Head Keeper Elf is now busy preparing the area next to the reindeer paddock for his imminent arrival and bookings are being taken for children to meet the man himself.

The space will be transformed and have a fantastically festive feel with a cosy Santa’s Workshop complete with stunning views of the reindeer paddock, hay bales, a fireplace (with wellies hanging from the mantle) and hessian sacks packed with presents.

Outside there will be more hay bales, a real decorated Christmas tree as well as refreshments including delicious hot chocolate, tasty gingerbread men and, of course, mince pies!

Special Keeper Elves will take children to meet Santa and receive a gift and parents and guardians are welcome to take pictures.

Once the magical experience is over little ones can join in with the Secret Mission from Santa trail around the zoo!

We're now busy getting ready for his impending arrival and there are lots of elves with lots of to-do lists down at the paddock. Our Santa slots are filling up fast so we would urge people to book now to avoid disappointment.

All visitors are welcome to take part in our free Secret Mission from Santa trail around the zoo and we will be releasing more details about this very soon!

Price is £6.50 per child and does not include zoo admission. All children aged 3 and over will require a zoo admission ticket or valid Membership in addition to a Meet Santa ticket. Children under 3 years will require a Meet Santa ticket only. All accompanying adults will require a Zoo admission ticket or valid Membership.
