Senior Catering Supervisor
Blackpool Zoo is one of the UK’s most established zoos. The Zoo is operated by Parques Reunidos, one of Europe’s largest leisure and attraction operators which specialises in the tourism/leisure sector.
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Catering Supervisor, dedicated to giving our visitors a great day out, reporting to the Catering Manager on a day-to-day basis. You will assist with the day to day running and supervision of the various catering outlets, and large catering team within the park with a view to increasing the current £1+ million catering turnover.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume environment, working in a senior supervisory position within hospitality. You will be an accomplished and experienced leader, have excellent people management skills and be enthusiastic and passionate about delivering brilliant customer service, and be highly organised.
This is a very hands-on role, and will involve active participation in all tasks as well as supervising others in their duties. This will include setting up the catering outlets, serving customers, dealing with deliveries, daily HACCP checks, record keeping, cleaning, team training, cash handling and managing the team members. You will understand and have experience of food safety legislation and associated requirements. IT literacy skills are desirable.
