Lake View Food Court including Subway

When you’ve worked up an appetite seeing and experiencing all our fantastic animals, we have the perfect place for you to take a break and refuel for the rest of the day. At our Lake View Food Court, situated at the very heart of the zoo next to the Bird Display Area, you will find a range of tasty treats to enjoy together, inside or out and with a great view of the lake. It’s all part of a great day out, as you sit down together, sharing food and stories and planning the next stage of your animal adventure.

At Easter 2022, we opened the UK's first Subway outlet in a zoo, and the cafe also has a fast food section and hot servery,  so you can pick your favourites, from super-filling hot food to delicious sandwiches. We’ve even made sure it’s all sustainable and all the food is either palm-oil-free or contains only certified-sustainable palm oil. We’ve also made sure we’ve provided for all of our guests, even the smallest, with high chairs and bottle-warming available on request.

If you’re way too busy having fun and just want a quick pit-stop, why not enjoy a Starbucks or an ice cream in the Conservatory or, if it’s sunny, make the most of the sunshine and the view with a refreshing cold drink on the terrace.
