We've got plenty of ghoulish goings-on to add to families’ potion of days out during the Halloween half term.

Pumpkin Carving - Join us at 12pm in the Children's Farm every day throughout Half Term for Pumpkin Carving, then watch in the afternoon as your masterpieces are handed out to animals large and small for our annual Pumpkin Stomp & Chomp!

Howls, Hoots and Haunts Quiz Trail - Solve the clues for the chance to win a Silver Family Membership! Collect your quiz trail sheet from admissions or the Amazonia Gift Shop. 

Spine Tingling Creepy Crawlies - At 3.15pm every day, head on down to the Darwin Centre to test your nerves with a spine tingling creepy crawly encounter.

Meet and Greet - Say hello to our family of sealions, hand feed a giraffe or even fly an owl - experiences need to be booked on the day in the Amazonia Gift Shop. £10 per person, age restrictions and conditions apply. 

Playbarn Halloween Party - Join us on Friday 30th or Saturday 31st October from 6pm-8pm in the Playbarn for our Halloween Party! Party includes a fancy dress competition, fun & games, spooktacular prizes, snack & drink, ghoulish gift and free parking. Blackpool Zoo is Open!

As part of Step 2 of the national roadmap out of lockdown we are allowed to open once again.  

However, we will not be allowed to open most indoor areas: the indoor eating area of the cafe is closed, as are the indoor viewing area of animal houses including elephants, big cats, giraffes, small primates, gorillas and orangutans. These animals all have access to their outdoor enclosures, however they may take themselves inside during inclement weather.  Lemur Wood and Rainbow Landings remain closed.
