Who's at the zoo?

You are here

We’re launching our new ‘Who’s at the Zoo’ feature, showcasing the variety of visitors that the zoo receives on a daily basis.

Today we have the Blackpool’s Community Covenant Pledge Working Group, which has been formed to recognise and thank for their service, our Armed Forces and is championed by Councillor Christopher Ryan. Held in our conference room, this is their very first meeting and includes representatives from 2 Lancs and 4 Lancs Battalion of the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment, Veterans’ Association, Local Community and Service Providers.

Find out who else visits the zoo by following us on Twitter (@BlackpoolZoo), Facebook, Instagram or check out our 'Who's at the Zoo?' Pinterest board.

Blackpool Zoo is currently closed!

The government has announced that the outdoor areas of zoos will be allowed to re-open no earlier than Monday 12th April.  Until then we remain closed.

As always please be assured that our dedicated keeper team will continue to provide the best care for our animals during the closure.

If you’ve booked tickets for any day during this closure, you can exchange them for another date. Please send your booking details to tickets@blackpoolzoo.org.uk.

We’ll keep you informed through our website and social media channels.

We really look forward to welcoming you back to Blackpool Zoo when we are allowed to re-open.

Stay safe everyone.
