Enjoy a family day out this half term

You are here

05/02/2015

Will the half term holiday be cold, crisp and sunny?  Don’t worry about it – we have so much to see at half term, you won’t have time to notice!  Just wrap up warm and come along to Blackpool Zoo to check on the tiger cubs’ progress and meet our cute new lamb in the Children’s Farm.

We’re open every day from 10.00 am until 4.45 pm with an interesting selection of talks and feeds. You can feed a giraffe to make your day even more special (charges apply) or why not treat a loved one to one of our other daily animal encounters. The Lake View Café will be open with some new specials for you to try and our Play Barn has had a facelift, too!

Look no further this half term – you know where we are! Book online and save, too.

Blackpool Zoo is reopening on Monday 12th April!

The government has announced that the outdoor areas of zoos will be allowed to reopen on Monday 12th April 2021.

We will not be allowed to open most indoor areas: the indoor eating area of the cafe is closed, as are the indoor viewing area of animal houses including elephants, big cats, giraffes, small primates, gorillas and orangutans.  These animals all have access to their outdoor enclosures.

A full list of restrictions and measures in place can be found here.  Please ensure you read them before you book your tickets as they are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

We really look forward to welcoming you back to Blackpool Zoo.

Stay safe everyone.
