The zoo is currently closed and we look forward to welcoming you back.

The health of our zoo family, which includes our visitors, staff and animals, is our top priority. Following the advice from Public Health England and the government, the zoo is closed until further notice.

Please be assured that our dedicated keeper team will continue to provide the best care for our animals during the closure.

We’ll keep you informed through our website and social media channels. We apologise for any disappointment and thank you for your patience.

We really look forward to welcoming you back to Blackpool Zoo when we re-open, although we don't yet have a confirmed date.

Stay safe everyone.

I’ve booked tickets online, what should I do?
If you’ve booked tickets through our website for any day during this closure, you can exchange them for any other date in 2020 or we can provide a refund. Please send your booking details and preferred option to tickets@blackpoolzoo.org.uk.

I’ve got a 2020 Membership, what does this closure mean for my Membership?
We value the support of all our members and want to reassure you that your loyalty to the zoo is recognised. Therefore, we will extend all membership validity dates into 2021 by the amount of days we are closed, rounded up to the end of the month that the extension finishes in (we will confirm your new expiry date once we reopen). For those members intending to renew to a 2021 membership, we will announce a special offer to reflect these differing circumstances when renewals go on sale. We thank all of our members for their commitment and patience at this challenging time.

I’ve got an Animal Experience booked, what should I do?
We are contacting anyone with a pre-booked Animal Experience explaining what this means. You can rebook for another date or request a refund. We will be in touch before the booking date.

I’ve got an Animal Experience voucher which expires soon, what should I do?
Please bear with us at this time.  We will be extending vouchers to ensure everyone can undertake their experience, details once confirmed, will be emailed to you.

I’ve purchased tickets from one of your ticket agents and they expire on 31.03.20, what should I do?
The expiry date on these tickets will be extended by 2 months from when the zoo re-opens.
