This week we’re celebrating all things orange for Orangutan Awareness Week, from November 9th to 15th
With the Great British Bake Off final fast approaching, we’ve been holding our very own bake off right here at the zoo.
With hundreds of animals, you're never short of a great photo opportunity. We've put together a list of our top ten favourite spots in the zoo for snapping away, with a few little tips to make the most of each opportunity!
Saturday 19th September is International Red Panda Day - so we wanted to share some of our favourite panda facts with you.
The government has announced that the outdoor areas of zoos will be allowed to reopen on Monday 12th April 2021.
We will not be allowed to open most indoor areas: the indoor eating area of the cafe is closed, as are the indoor viewing area of animal houses including elephants, big cats, giraffes, small primates, gorillas and orangutans. These animals all have access to their outdoor enclosures.
A full list of restrictions and measures in place can be found here. Please ensure you read them before you book your tickets as they are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
We really look forward to welcoming you back to Blackpool Zoo.
Stay safe everyone.
