Unfortunately, we have had to close indoor animal viewing areas and walk-through exhibits. All of these animals do have outdoor enclosures where you’ll have the chance to see them, and we’ll be adapting routines to encourage them outside as much as possible.
Ramon and the girls moved into the new house in summer, 2014. Come and say “Hello” – you might even get a high five from Ramon!
Orangutan Outlook is home to our family of critically endangered Bornean orangutans. The male, Ramon, lives with females, Cherie, Summer and Jingga.
The house has ceiling to floor viewing upstairs and down, offering great opportunities to see these fascinating apes pursuing their favourite occupation - climbing. Themed walls, rustic seating and informative wall panels complete this welcoming enclosure.
