Timber's Leaving Us.
Our young male giraffe, Timber, is leaving on Saturday, 5th June, to join an all-male group in Wales. He'll be taken by a specialist transporter to Folly Farm, a zoo, farm and theme park in Pembrokeshire.
Timber is 18 months old now and is the first giraffe calf ever born at Blackpool Zoo so will always be special to us and our visitors. We know he will be taken care of very well indeed and will soon settle in.
