My children and their friends attended the "Brunch with Santa" event last weekend and had a fantastic time! My son is very shy, but took off with Santa and his helpers to meet the reindeer without even a second glance at me!! Congratulations, Blackpool Zoo! What a fantastic place to bring the family for a day out. We expected to be leaving after an hour because it's winter and we didn't think there would be much to see, but we were WRONG! Quite a few animals were outside and we could easily see into the houses for the ones indoors keeping warm. We attended the talks and watched the keepers feeding the animals - I thought I knew quite a lot, but how wrong I was!! If anyone is thinking of visiting the zoo, don't be put off because of the time of year. It's great! See you in summer.
