Entrance Hall

The Entrance Hall contains our admission points, a modern Coffee Shop serving Roma coffee, a family gift shop including a Fairer Trade area, children's soft play, birthday party room, 70 seater lecture theatre and toilets. The Hall is modern and bright and provides a friendly welcome and warm atmosphere.

Catering Facilities

A large family cafe is situated in the heart of the zoo, next to the elephant house. This licensed cafe seats 300 people and serves good quality hot and cold healthy food at good prices. The Coffee Shop in the Entrance Hall serves a selection of toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, fresh cream cakes and quality hot and cold beverages including Roma coffee. During the season there are ice cream kiosks and BBQ's open around the park. There are also many picnic tables throughout the park.

During the winter months, the family cafe is closed, but the Coffee Shop serves hot food and beverages during opening hours.

Retail Outlets

The main family shop is situated in the Entrance Hall, offering a full selection of gifts and souvenirs for all ages and to suit all pockets. The 'Shop for the Planet' area offers products that help the planet ie Fair Trade, Recycled, Environmentally Friendly, Eco Friendly and Charity products. There are also two smaller shops which open in the main season.

Car Parking

We provide a patrolled car park for all our visitors, that has been completed renovated for a nominal charge of £2 per visit and dedicated, secure parking for coaches.
