Welcome to Blackpool Zoo Education

Zoo mission Statement: "At the Zoo we aim to provide a stimulating, informative and enjoyable experience, showing visitors our role in conservation of endangered species through continually developing the highest standard of animal care."

Visiting Blackpool Zoo as a school trip gets children and young people learning outside the classroom. They can touch, see, hear and explore the world around them through our 'hands-on' education sessions. We can tailor-make our sessions to anything you may have been learning in school to provide teachers with another resource. Alternatively you can choose from our range of topics listed on our Education Sessions page.

Schools pre-booked with our education department receive:

- One free education session for each group of up to 35 people

- Hands-on experience with various animals and artefacts

- Free coach parking and cafe voucher for the driver

- Pre-visit voucher on request
