Charity Donations and Sponsorship
Blackpool Zoo receives requests for charitable donations and / or financial sponsorship on a daily basis from all over the UK from individuals, schools, charities and other fund-raising bodies.
We do, therefore, as a company, have to monitor very carefully and limit the number of free admission tickets offered to other bodies. As a result of this, donations, usually in the form of one Adult Annual Membership, can only be offered to those bona fide organisations within the local FY postcode area for fund-raising to benefit the local community or a registered charity.
Requests must be made in writing, either by letter to the Zoo or email to info@blackpoolzoo.org.uk by an authorised signatory representing the organisation.
Please note :
· We are unable to offer any monetary sponsorship to any organisation or individual for any reason.
· Donations will only be made directly to charities or organisations holding fund-raisers and not to third parties. i.e. not to those holding events on behalf of a nominated charity.
· Only one donation will be made to any organisation in a twelve month period.
All applications adhering to these criteria will be considered.
