Entrance Hall
The Entrance Hall contains our admission points, a modern Coffee Shop selling Starbucks Coffee, a family gift shop including a Fairer Trade area, children's soft play, birthday party rooms, 70 seater lecture theatre and toilets. The Hall is modern and bright and provides a friendly welcome and warm atmosphere.
Catering Facilities
The large family Lake View Cafe is situated in the heart of the zoo, next to the elephant house. This licensed cafe seats 400 people and serves good quality hot and cold healthy food. (this is currently closed for renovation).
The Coffee Shop in the Entrance Hall serves Starbucks Coffee, a selection of toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, fresh cream cakes and quality hot and cold beverages -
During the season there are ice cream kiosks open around the park. There are also many picnic tables throughout the Zoo. (Please note that some of the catering outlets open seasonally.)
Retail Outlets
The main family shop is situated in the Entrance Hall, offering a full selection of gifts and souvenirs for all ages and to suit all pockets. There are also a smaller shop that opens in the main season.
Car Parking
We provide a patrolled car park for all our visitors, that has been completely renovated for a nominal charge of £2.50 per visit and dedicated, free, secure parking for coaches.
